Apprenticeship Program

Hey Folks,

I have found in my experience as a yoga student and teacher that there is a lack of clarity and understanding of what it means to undertake a course of study and eventually, be a teacher. This program format is my effort to make central the personalized nature of experiencing the promises that yoga offers.

This one-on-one format is how the transmission of yoga teachings have occurred in the Himalayan Tradition for thousands of years. This period of mentorship and self-study is what I believe to be the next necessary step for many teachers in effectively sharing the practices of yoga with others and developing yourself as a skilled, authentic, and confident teacher.

In an effort to honor the lineage of sages that we are a part of through our humble and heartfelt practice of yoga I am offering this clear and directed learning pathway for those looking to develop their teaching skills. This program can be completed in addition to the 200-hour curriculum for a 300-hour yoga teacher designation.

Having your basic human needs met is a vital component to developing your capacity for attention and practicing inquiry into the nature of your own mental-emotional complex. I have options available to make this accessible to anyone genuinely willing to commit to the study and practice required in order to develop your own unique presence as a teacher and foster the creativity you will need to develop a business model to support yourself in your work.

I offer a sliding scale, payment plans, and sponsorship based on each individual’s resources and capacity. If you are in need of financial assistance or have the resources to sponsor a student in need, please let me know in our consultation.
