Other yoga programs barely scratch the surface. They strip yoga of its essential spiritual nature and teach only physical postures, ignoring the more profound meaning and purpose of cultivating a devoted yoga practice. 

I've heard from so many folks that have taken online yoga course or joined memberships and felt frustrated that they were fragmented and superficial. Eventually, most of them are never finished or go unused. Leaving participants unsatisfied and confused from random classes that offer no depth or clear through-line in the teachings.

This isn't another random yoga course, it's a devotional Sadhana 

A yoga sadhana is a structured and disciplined practice that can connect you to the heart of yoga practice. With the support of a group of practitioners or Sangha, you will find a deeper motivation for consistent practice. With two yearly offerings you can return again and again to find greater depths.

About Jayme

I’m Jayme, creator of Live Your Flow. I’m a 500-hr eRYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) and a Certified Yoga Therapist from the International Association for Yoga Therapy.

A former professional basketball player, I discovered the power of yoga and meditation when struggling to overcome performance blocks on the court. What I learned helped take my team from lowest ranked in the conference to conference champions. Since then, I’ve been on a path to learn and teach this profound practice.

In 2010, I diverged from my career path as a high-level strength coach and traveled extensively in South America, where my interest in yoga and spirituality deepened. Back in the states, I became a resident of the Himalayan Institute where I studied and lived for three years. There, I earned my 300hr and yoga therapy certifications.

Yoga (in the fullest sense of the word) helps me enjoy life. It has taught me about “right relationship”—the ability to live peacefully and joyfully—with myself and with others. Sharing this practice with others is more than meaningful to me—it’s my path and my purpose.

Yoga leads to nothing short of transformation. I can’t wait to share it with you.

How my approach to yoga practice can support your healing

Trauma-Informed:
A trauma-informed approach recognizes the impact of trauma on the body and mind, creating a safe and supportive environment for practice. This approach emphasizes gentleness, choice, and empowerment, helping you feel more secure and in control. It acknowledges and respects your boundaries, allowing you to progress at your own pace. By addressing trauma through mindful movement and breath, you can begin to heal emotional wounds, change your relationship to your body, and become stronger than your life.

Somatically oriented:
Somatic-based cues focus on the internal movement experience rather than just the external form. By tuning into your body's sensations, you develop a deeper awareness and understanding of how your body moves and feels. This continuous invitation into sensory awareness can reveal areas of stored tension, stress, or trauma that need attention, allowing you to release these unconscious blockages that keep you repeating unhealthy patterns.

Developmental Movements:
These movements are designed to mirror the natural patterns of human development, helping you reconnect with your body’s innate wisdom. By revisiting these fundamental movements, you can correct imbalances and reconnect with a deeper felt sense of alignment. This approach fosters a sense of safety and stability mentally and emotionally by revisiting through meditative movement the ways we learned to compensate in our formative years. The depth of the healing work is significant and occurs without revisiting mental stories or bringing up traumatic memories. We simply learn to move differently in our lives now.
